Julie Chen Moonves will host the summer hit reality series Big Brother. The show is set to return to CBS on August 5 for the third season. Chen Moonves has been an integral part of The Talk since 2010, where she was moderator as well as host. The real love of her life was writing. In fact, she received an Emmy. The fact that she hosted an amazing entertainment talk show earned her another Emmy. The Talk is a show which examines the current news through five female hosts. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS NewsThe Morning Show on a weekday The Early Show in 2002 as well as in 2010, before becoming host of the talk show. Before that she was the CBS Morning News anchor and hosts on The Early Show. The anchor was escorted to Cairo after 9/11 and conducted an exclusive and riveting discussion with the father who was the primary terrorist who took over the world. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news program, profiling celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves has also worked for CBS's New York City station WCBS, as a reporter, anchor, and anchor (1997-1999). Prior to entering CBS News from 1995 Chen Moonves had been as a reporter at WDTN TV Dayton. Her previous jobs include working as a reporter with ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliated news service (1992-1995) and as a desk-assistant within ABC News' Los Angeles Bureau (1990-1991) and all the while completing her final year of university from The University of Southern California. She was a desk attendant to ABC News' Nightline program with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel remains as one of her journalist idols. Chen Moonves worked with Koppel in the Columbia du-Pont-nominated show on primetime, Anatomy of a Riot that examined the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
